Evaporator High-Pressure Pipe

Evaporator High-Pressure Pipe (4-Cyl)

The evaporators high-pressure pipe consists of two pipes running from the receiver via a joint by the console behind the right-hand headlamp to the
expansion valve.

IMPORTANT

Be careful not to contaminate the expansion valve.

To remove

1. Place the car on a lift.
2. Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system.
3. Detach the inlet hose with mass air flow sensor, without unplugging the connector, and place it on one side.
4. Remove the heat shield from the exhaust manifold.
5. Remove and move away the by-pass pipe including the valve.
