Incorrect display on tripmeter or odometer.
Diagnostic help
The tripmeter or odometer can be activated with number 8 with the diagnostic tool. All the segments will then light up on the display enabling easy
inspection.
Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads.
Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.
