If there is a break/short to ground in the circuit to the outside temperature sensor, diagnostic trouble code
B1746 will be generated.
If there is a short circuit to B+, fuse 8 will blow.

The SID unit is prepared for the connection of an additional or parking heater in the car. The programming and timer functions for the parking heater are
integrated into the SID unit.
Fitting and operating instructions are supplied with the parking heater.
