Boost Solenoid: Service and Repair
Charge air control valve
To remove
1
Unplug the connector.

Mark the hoses and detach them from the control valve.

Remove the valve from the expanding pin and sheet metal bracket.
To fit
1
Secure the valve to the sheet metal bracket and then fit it on the expanding pin.

Connect the hoses to the control valve. Check that the marks on the hoses coincide with the marks on the control valve.

Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part No. 30 21 763). Plug in the connector.
