Slacken the turbocharger delivery pipe retaining bolt in the cylinder head.

Undo the hose clips and bend up the turbocharger delivery pipe. Remove the rubber bend from the throttle body and turbocharger delivery pipe.

Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body's pedal arm.

Unplug the limp-home solenoid's connector.

Unplug the throttle body's 10-pin connector.

Remove the 3 throttle body retaining bolts.

13 Lift up the throttle body and detach the hose under the limp-home solenoid.

To fit

Fit in reverse order.
Spray all connectors with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner (part No.30 21 763).
Change the rubber seal between throttle body and intake manifold as necessary and coat it sparingly with vaseline.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft).
