Important Points To Bear In Mind

Never:

-

disconnect the battery while the engine is running.

-

remove the generator while the battery is connected.

-

test run the generator in the car or on a test bench without connecting the battery.

-

connect the battery with incorrect polarity. The car can be damaged.

Important

When performing electric welding on the car, the battery's connection to the car body and all the generator connections must be disconnected, as
electrical components may otherwise be damaged.
