Child Seat: Description and Operation
Integrated Child Seat
The Saab 9-5 can be equipped with an optional integrated child seat, located in the right-hand section of the rear seat. The integrated child seat consists
of a seat cushion, which is folded out from the regular backrest, and a separate backrest that comes forward until flush with the rest of the regular
backrest.
The integrated child seat in the rear seat is intended for children weighing 15-36 kg and who are 3-10 years old. The standard 3-point seat belt is used to
secure the child in the integrated child seat.
The seat is designed so that the height at which the child is sitting is correct for the seat belts. Move the head restraint forwards to obtain optimum
support.
