Fold down the backrest.

Remove the head restraints from the seat.

Remove the speaker grilles on both sides.

Remove the 3 clips at the front of the parcel shelf.

Lift out the parcel shelf trim and pull out the center belt.

Unscrew the lower belt mounting, 1 nut.

Remove the center belt from the parcel shelf, 1 nut.

To fit

IMPORTANT

Ensure that the belt runs correctly.

Fit in reverse order.
Check that the center belt runs in front of the locating pin and backrest.

Tightening torques:
Inertia reel mounting nuts 45 Nm (33 lbf ft).
Floor mounting 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)

Rear-Seat center Belt, 5D

To remove

Tip the rear-seat seat cushions forward.

Fasten the rear belts in the belt holders on the C pillars.

Tip the 40% backrest forward slightly and detach the clip securing the trim.

Use a screwdriver to release the catch by the sill and lift out the backrest (upwards).

Pull the backrest away from the hinge pin at the center pivot and lift out the backrest.
