3. Fit 83 95 162 Protective collar, drive shafts into the sealing ring.
4. Make sure that the drive shaft is clean and then align it with the tool.

Important:  Fit the drive shaft in the gearbox until about 20 mm remains and extract the tool before the shaft's sealing surface reaches the shaft
seal.

5. Push in the rest of the shaft until the circlip clicks in.

6. Fit the ball joint to the steering swivel member and tighten.

Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)

Warning:  Make sure the steering swivel pin is visible above the steering swivel member before fitting the bolt. 

7. Fit the brake line in the mounting on the steering swivel member and fit the clip as well as the two mountings for the ABS lead.
8. Fit the wheel and tighten the wheel bolts.

Tightening torque 110 Nm (80 ft. lbs.) 

Important:  The wheels must be hanging freely while tightening the wheel screws.

9. Fill the gearbox with oil to the correct level. See Summary of lubricants and sealants.
