1. Set the solenoid winding in place with the guide pin in the groove on the compressor housing. Check that the windings run correctly. Attach the

circlip.

2. Fit the belt pulley and attach the circlip.
3. Insert the shims in the driver and fit it on the shaft. Tighten the bolt.

Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9 lbf ft)

4. Check the clearance between the driver and the belt pulley with a feeler gauge. Clearance should be 0.5 ± 0.15 mm. If necessary, adjust the

clearance by changing shims on the compressor shaft.

NOTE:  The feeler gauge must be angled to measure the clearance.

5. Connect the compressor ground cable and securing plate to the compressor housing.
6. Fit the A/C compressor.
