1. Position the rear end of the high-pressure pipe.
2. Remove the plugs. Replace and lubricate the O-rings on the high-pressure pipe with synthetic vaseline, part no. 30 15 286.
3. Connect the high-pressure pipe to the expansion valve.

Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.)

4. Fasten the pipe with the holders on the structural member.
5. Fit the power-steering oil container.
6. Position the front end of the high-pressure pipe.

Note:  Start by inserting the right-hand end of the pipe from left to right down under the compressor. If the pipe is located correctly, it should now
fall in place.

7. Remove the plugs. Replace and lubricate the O-rings on both ends of the high-pressure pipe with synthetic vaseline, part no. 30 15 286.
8. Raise the car.
