1. Fit a new hose to the filler pipe, tighten the hose clip.

IMPORTANT:  The hose to the filler pipe must always be replaced with a new one. It must not be refitted as it may crack.

2. Make sure the filler pipe is clean and not damaged.
3. Clean the rubber grommet at the filler cap and apply acid-free Vaseline.
4. Put the filler pipe in place and connect it to the tank.
5. Fit a new plastic screw and tighten it.

Tightening torque: 1.8 Nm (1.3 lbf ft)

6. Tighten the hose clip at the tank connection.

Tightening torque: 2.0 Nm (1.4 lbf ft)

7. Connect the filler pipe vent hose to the tank.

NOTE:  Make sure the quick-release coupling is not damaged and that the indicator has been removed (round plastic ring in the quick-release
coupling).

8. Secure the cable to the filler pipe with a cable tie.
9. Fit the vent device to the filler pipe
