User Programming
The ACC control module can be programmed by the user. Manual selections are stored in the control module so that they are selected when the car is
started. Functions not programmed by the user will be set automatically.
User programming is accessed by pressing OFF and rear window heating simultaneously.
The program is cancelled by pressing AUTO and fan down simultaneously. In both cases, the display lighting will confirm the selections by going out for
250 ms.
The control module processor is active for 10 minutes after turning off the ignition. If the ignition is turned on within these 10 minutes, the control
module will retain any manual selections made during the latest trip. After 10 minutes the control module will start with user-programmed selections.
NOTE: Experience shows that half the ACC control modules returned during the warranty period have not been defective but user-programmed.
Therefore, it is important that this function is explained to the customer.
Adjustment
The ACC unit can be adjusted with the diagnostics tool to always start with any manual selections made during the latest trip.
