Take the front seat out of the car, refer to "Front Seat Replacement". See: Service and Repair/Procedures

Undo the straps holding the backrest cover at the bottom.

Release the upholstery strips on the underside.

Undo the 2 screws holding the plastic plate and pull the plate out of the backrest cover.

Undo the rear of the backrest cover by releasing the upholstery strips along the sides and folding back.

Release the upholstery strips along one side at the rear of the backrest frame.

Remove the knob for the lumbar support adjustment.

Detach the upholstery hooks in the underside of the backrest.

Fold aside the cover and cushion at the side of the backrest.
