Cleaning A Car After Airbag Has Been Triggered
^
When the airbag has been triggered, combustion residue is released in the form of dust particles which may contain traces of caustic soda.
WARNING: Wear goggles and protective gloves to avoid the risk of eye and skin irritation when cleaning a car in which the airbag has
been triggered.
^
Put the airbag envelope in a tight-sealing plastic bag when it has been removed. Remember that the airbag's gas generator will be extremely hot
immediately after the airbag has detonated.
^
Thoroughly clean all interior surfaces of the car with a vacuum cleaner.
