9. Press out the ball joint, using tool 89 96 761 (KM-906-70, KM-906-61 and KM-906-62).
To fit
1. Press in the ball joint, using tool 89 96 761 (KM-906-70, KM-906-63 and KM-906-64).
2. Use a wire brush to clean the mating surface for the rear wheel hub.
3. Lift up the wheel hub with brake disc and hook the handbrake cable and return spring in place.
4. Fit the wheel hub on the backplate and secure both to the longitudinal link, using new nuts. Tighten the nuts alternately.
Tightening torque 50 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) +30°.
5. Plug in the ABS sensor's connector.
6. Fit the brake caliper, apply threadlocking adhesive to the retaining bolts and tighten them.
