Mobile Telephone Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Remove the right rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear

Seat Cushion Replacement). 

3. Remove the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement  (See: Cellular Phone/Communications

Control Module/Service and Repair).

4. Remove the navigation control processor bracket. Refer to Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement  (See: Navigation System/Service

and Repair).

5. Pass the cellular telephone coax cable through the carpet opening. 
6. Remove the seat back, left and right side. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Back/Service and

Repair/Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement).

7. Remove the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

Plate/Service and Repair/Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement). 

8. Remove the rear door sill plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement).

9. Remove the center pillar trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement). 

10. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement).

11. Remove the lower rear quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side), or to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side 
(See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side). 

12. Remove the left coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair).
13. Remove the tool kit carrier. 
14. Remove the child restraint tether anchors. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement - Rear No. 1  (See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt

Systems/Child Restraint/Child Seat Tether Attachment/Service and Repair/Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement - Rear No. 1).

15. Lift and fold the carpet over the bucket seats. 

16. Remove the coax cable fasteners from the floor panel.

17. Remove the coax cable fasteners from the left third pillar.
