Front Upper Speaker Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement).
Important: Ensure that the speaker electrical connector does not fall into the speaker opening.
2. Remove the 3 screws that retain the speaker to the instrument panel (I/P) substrate.
3. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.
4. Remove the speaker from the I/P.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the speaker to the I/P.
2. Connect the speaker electrical connector.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).
3. Install the 3 speaker retaining screws.
Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).
