7. With the aid of an assistant, install the liftgate to the body side hinge by inserting the hinge pivots into the hinge bushings and sliding the liftgate to
the right.
8. Install the liftgate hinge pivot retainers (1) to the liftgate hinge pivots.
9. Connect the liftgate to the body wiring harness connector. Refer to Liftgate Wiring Harness Replacement (See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Liftgate Wiring Harness Replacement).
10. Install the liftgate struts. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement (See: Trunk / Liftgate Shock / Support/Service and Repair/Liftgate Strut
Replacement).
11. Install the liftgate window. Refer to Liftgate Window Replacement (See: Liftgate Window Glass/Service and Repair).
