Removal Procedure
1. Remove the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Flex Plate/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts (1).
3. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts.
4. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing and gasket.
5. Discard the crankshaft rear oil seal housing and gasket.
6. Clean and inspect the crankshaft rear oil seal housing. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Housing Cleaning and Inspection (See: Service and
Repair/Overhaul/Component Service and Inspection/Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Housing Cleaning and Inspection).
