1. Install the CKP sensor.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).

2. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the CKP sensor (1).
4. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (5.3L Engine)  (See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Starter Motor/Service and

Repair).
