Transmission Control Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair/Console Replacement).

2. Disconnect the shift lock control solenoid wiring harness.
3. Remove the end of the range selector cable (1) from the transmission control ball stud.
4. Remove the range selector cable (2) from the floor shift control.

5. Remove the transmission control bolts.
6. Remove the transmission control.
