M84- w/ Sanden evaporator

Withdraw the capillary tube and mark the tube with a wrap of tape 130 mm from the end of the tube. This insures that only the correct length (130
mm) will be inserted into the evaporator.
2.
Work the tube into the evaporator at the angle and location described in drawing 4. Check that the recirculation door moves freely.
3.
Test the system. Should icing still occur replace the thermostatic switch P/N 85-93-766) and again correctly locate the tube.
Warranty Information (for cars in warranty): For relocating the capillary tube only, use Failure Code 87062-06-0-01-05 and the time allowance is 0.2
hour which is entered as straight time on the claim.
For relocating the capillary tube and then replacing the thermostatic switch, use Failure Code 87062-06-0-01-01 and the time allowance is 0.4 hour
which is entered as straight time on the claim.
