Front Band

Up To Serial Nos. 001-1700 & 002-2800

1.

Remove rear bottom cover, then loosen locknut and install .25 inch spacer (part No. 87 90 073) between adjusting screw and piston rod.

2.

Torque adjusting screw to 12 inch lbs., then back off screw one turn.

3.

Torque locknut to 17 ft.lbs. while holding adjusting screw in position. 

Beginning Serial Nos. 001-1701 & 002-2801

1.

Remove rear bottom cover, then loosen locknut and install .35 inch spacer (part No. 87 91 030) between adjusting screw and piston rod.

2.

Torque adjusting screw to 1 ft.lb., then torque locknut to 17 ft.lbs. while holding adjusting screw in position.
