TURBO AND GLE AS FROM THE 1983 MODEL
4. Check that reverse gear is fully engaged in the gearbox.
5. Tighten the clamp on the selector rod universal joint.
Tightening torque: 30-35 Nm (22-25 lb ft)
Use bolt part No. 75 41 907 and nut 79 75 502.
NOTE: 5-speed gearbox: After completing presetting and adjustment, check that, when the gear lever is in neutral, it is in line with the 3rd/4th
gates. If the position of the gear lever is displaced to the side, adjust the guide bracket.
