Install hand brake lever return spring and check clearance between yoke and brake housing, Fig. 5.

Remove caliper and clean housing, Fig. 6.
2.
Remove dust boot from each piston, then force out pistons using compressed air.
3.
Remove piston seals from grooves in cylinder walls, taking care not to mar cylinder. Do not separate caliper housing.
4.
Wash parts in solvent, rinse with clean brake fluid, and blow dry with compressed air.
5.
Replace any components found defective, lightly lubricate cylinder bores and pistons with clean brake fluid, install new seals, and insert pistons
into bores.
6.
Install new dust boots over pistons, and seat pistons in bores.
