Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Caliper Replace
1.
Remove brake pads as outlined previously.
2.
On 900 models, disconnect brake cable from front caliper.
3.
On 9000 models, disconnect brake cable from rear caliper.
4.
On all models, disconnect hydraulic hose to caliper and plug hose and open fitting.
5.
Remove 2 bolts securing caliper to steering knuckle or axle and remove caliper.
6.
Reverse procedure to install, bleed system, and adjust hand brake as needed.
