Before proceeding wfth Steps 5 and 6, refer to Figure 5 on Page 3. The hose cuts you will make in the next two steps will permit the installation of the
"T" connector as shown In Figure 5.

Remove the control valve end of the lower heater hose (the other end may be left attached) and cut it off 20 cm (7-3/4 in.) from the end as shown
in Figure 2. The piece which has been cut off may be discarded.
