Cut the wiring harness to the cruise control switch as close to the connector as possible (Figure 1). Remove the switch.

Strip the ends of the wires in the harness and fit the four (4) pins. For proper connection, use crimping pliers, P/N 88 18 999. Fit the wires into the
4-pin connector, P/N 91 23 555, as shown in Figure 2.

Remove the cruise control relay from the firewall and disconnect the connector. Fit the splice connector between wire 607 GN (green) and 602
RD/ VT (red/white) as shown in Figure 3.
9.
Secure the connector to the wiring harness with a tie strap or tape. Do not reconnect or install the relay.
10.
Install the new cruise control switch on the bracket and connect the cruise control and signal switch wires.
