Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation
The electric cooling fan is mounted behind the radiator assembly and is thermostatically controlled. When engine coolant reaches a predetermined
temperature, a thermo-switch closes its contacts, allowing the electric cooling fan to operate. When engine coolant temperature decreases, the
thermo-switch opens its contacts, de-energizing the electric cooling fan.
