REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

Always inspect the Campaign Modification Plate before beginning any recall work. As with all campaigns the plate my be marked from an earlier repair.
For Recall 272, note the following Campaign Plate information:

Cars with VIN's beginning with "J3" (Arlov production that have square "B2" of the Campaign Plate stamped with the figure do not require any
further recall work.

Cars with VIN's beginning with "J7" (Finland production) that have square "B1" of the Campaign Plate stamped with the figure "6" also do not
require any further recall work.

Disregard any other campaign Plate markings.

Scope of Repair

Cars built in Arlov (VIN "J3") require only that the six bolts attaching the two rear control arm mountings be changed.

Cars built in Finland (VIN "J7") require that all 12 control arm mounting bolts be changed.

Repair Procedure

NOTE
The bolts must be changed one at a time with the control are in place.

Remove and discard the nut.
