Make sure the throttle cable is slack.

3.

Using tool 83 94 322, loosen the locknut on the throttle stop screw (Figure 2). Turn the screw until the throttle plate is fully closed (sealing
against the inside of the throttle housing).

Once the throttle plate is fully closed, turn the screw one-half turn clockwise and then tighten the locknut, taking care not to alter the screw
setting.

5.

Adjust the throttle position switch back to its normal position with the contacts (Pins 1 and 2) closed at idle. Tighten the switch mounting
screws.

6.

To check the throttle position switch setting, listen for an audible click as the throttle plate moves from the idle position.
