Remove any irregularities or burrs from the ends of the spring-loaded pins with extra fine emery cloth.

Carefully clean all debris from the pins.

Apply a small amount of light viscosity high-temperature grease such as white lithium grease to the ends of the spring-loaded pins.

Re-assemble the switch noting that the symbol imprinted on the switch face should match up against the small notch in the switch housing.

5.

Replace the switch and check the operation of the windows.

Warranty Information:

For warranty repairs, use Failure Code 36426-02-X-01-05 on front window switches and 36429-02-X-01-05 on rear window switches. Time allowance is
0.2 hour to R & R each switch (Operation No. 36426) and 0.2 hour to make the repair (enter in straight time area) on each switch.
