Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
Accumulator
1.
Depressurize system, refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT, prior to beginning work.
2.
Using an 8mm Allen key, remove accumulator retaining bolt.
3.
Remove accumulator from vehicle.
4.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install new O-ring.
b. Torque accumulator attaching bolt to 25-34 ft. lbs.
c. Turn ignition switch on and ensure that brake and ABS warning lights go off.
