Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Suspension

1.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheels.

2.

Place jack under spring link to relieve load on damper.

3.

Remove nut and bolt from lower damper mounting.

4.

Remove jack, then the shock absorber upper mounting nut and bushing.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, torquing bolts and nuts to specifications.
