5 Check that battery voltage is applied to relay terminal 30. If it is not, check the lead to main relay terminal 30.
6 Check that voltage is present on terminal 86 of the fuel pump relay (relay operated).
If it is not, check that voltage is present on main relay terminal 87.
If it is not, see "Checking the main relay". See: Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System)/Testing and Inspection
If voltage is present, check that the pressure switch (LH 2.2 turbo engine) and the lead between pump relay terminal 86 and main relay terminal 87
is OK (main relay not operated).
7 Ground pump relay terminal 85 and check that terminals 87 and 87B are live (main relay operated). If they are not, change the relay.
