A redesigned shift lever boot for the Saab 9000 with a 5-speed transmission is now available to help prevent the shift lever from slipping out of 3rd and
5th gears.

P/N 75 99 442

The new shift lever boot is more pliable so it will not put as much tension on the shift lever. Tension from the old boot could cause the shift lever to pop
out of gear, especially with small changes in load or in cold weather.

The new shift boot was introduced into new car production starting with VIN J1021475 and J2012110.
