9000 L4-1985cc 2.0L DOHC Turbo EFI (1987)
Servicing In-Use Tensioner.
1. Start by pushing the ratchet down and retracting the tensioner mechanism.
2. Thread in the tensioner and tighten to
63 Nm (47 ft lb).
3. Insert the spring and plastic guide pin into the hole in the top of the tensioner assembly.
Fitting Center Bolt And Spring, Late Type.
4. Fit the plug into the top of the tensioner and tighten to
22 Nm (16 ft lb). Be sure that the O-ring is seated properly.
