Grounding Point: Locations
General

The car has certain earthing points which have "component numbers" and other earthing points at which a component is earthed directly to the chassis,
such as temperature transmitters, oil pressure transmitters, etc.

The battery of the car is earthed by means of two conductors. One of the conductors has a cross-sectional area of 25 mm2 and runs directly to the
engine (earthing point 211). The second has a cross-sectional area of 16 mm2 and runs to earthing point 7 located adjacent to the battery on the
left-hand wheel housing.

From earthing point 7, a conductor runs to negative distribution terminal i58 located in the electrical distribution box behind the glove compartment.
