Shift Cable: Service and Repair

Removal

Detach the battery leads and remove the battery.

Remove the battery tray.

Set the selector lever to neutral.

Detach the selector cable from the transmission.

Remove left-hand and right-hand side trim.

6

Remove the front air duct.

7

Remove the lower storage pocket.

8

Remove selector lever covers and release buttons.

9

Remove the gear indicator cover and unplug the indicator lamp.

10 Detach the gear selector cable from the gear selector bracket.

11 Remove the gear selector cable.
