Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
Bleeding Hydraulic Clutch System In the Car
To bleed the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
1. Connect a length of transparent hose to the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder. Place the other end of the hose in a suitable receptacle.
2. Open the bleed nipple half a turn.
3. Fit the cooling system tester to the fluid reservoir.
4. Pump until all air bubbles have been expelled from the system.
5. Close the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder.
6. Check that the clutch is operating properly and top up the brake fluid to the correct level.
