Timing Cover: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery lead and cover the terminal pole on the battery.
8393993 Flywheel locking attachment
2. Fit locking segment 83 93 993, or equivalent to the flywheel.
3. Raise the car and drain the engine oil and coolant.
4. Remove the right front wheel and fender liner.
