ABS Light: Description and Operation
As on cars with conventional brakes, the brake warning light will come on if level in the fluid reservoir falls below the MIN mark. However, if there is
a pressure drop in the accumulator both the brake warning and the ABS warning lights will come on. The ABS warning light will also come on if there is
an additional drop of fluid in the reservoir, a malfunction in the ECU, an open circuit in the electrical system or a weak signal being received from the
wheel sensors. The ABS system is inoperative when the ABS warning light is on.
