9000 L4-2290cc 2.3L DOHC Turbo EFI (1992)
1.
Remove the clock or DCC/SCC from the instrument panel, Figure 1.
2.
If the car is equipped with a clock:
Unplug the 3-pin connector and the 8-pin HB-A connector (122) from the rear of the clock.
Locate the 8-pin H8-B connector (122) in the wiring behind the clock. (Location of this connector may vary.)
The connector can be identified by the colors of the leads.

If the car is equipped with a DCC/SCC:
Unplug the two connectors, H8-A and HB-B (122) at the rear of the DCC/SCC.

Remove pin 6 and lead 777YE (yellow) from connector H8-A. Cut off the terminal and strip the insulation from the lead. Crimp this lead and the
yellow diode lead to one of the cable terminals 91 20 783.
Plug the terminal back into the connector receptacle for pin 6, Figure 2.
