Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
The fuel gauge is monitored by the EDU 1/2 trip computer. In the event of a fault ``Err'' may light up on the computer display.
1.
Check fuse 13 and that power is supplied to it.
2.
Ensure fuel gauge terminals have power supplied to them.
3.
Check connectors, cable harnesses and ground connections.
4.
Resistance of fuel level transmitter are as follows:
a. With fuel tank full, 350 ohms.
b. With fuel tank empty, 35 ohms.
