Seat Belt: Service and Repair
Front Seat Belt Lock

REMOVAL

1. Heat up the upset point of the seat-belt buckle lock with a soldering iron and lever apart the buckle lock.
2. Note the location of the seat-belt buckle lock.
3. Press in place the male part of the buckle lock on the seat-belt so the point comes out on the side that is not visible when in use
4. Push on the female part.
5. Press together the buckle lock with a pair of grips and at the same time melt down the point with a soldering iron.
6. Level out the melted-down point with a sharp knife.

NOTE: Let the plastic set properly before testing the operation.
