Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
1.
Depressurize system, refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT, prior to beginning work.
2.
Remove rubber covering from delivery pipe.
3.
Disconnect pressure switch electrical connector.
4.
Using socket tool No. 89 96 571 or equivalent, remove pressure switch.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Fit new O-ring onto pressure switch.
b. Torque pressure switch to 15-19 ft. lbs.
c. Switch ignition on to ensure brake and ABS warning lights go off.
