Power Steering Pump Overhaul

DISASSEMBLY

1. Pressing in the end cover, press out the circlip through the hole in the pump casing.
2. Remove the end cover by tapping the pump casing against the vice.
3. Remove the O-ring.
4. Remove the rotor complete with vanes.
5. Remove the pump ring and the two dowel pins.
6. Remove the end plate.
7. Remove the O-ring on the end plate.
8. Remove the spring and the catch pin.
9. Remove the O-ring.

ASSEMBLY

1. Fit the O-ring
2. Fit the catch spring in place in the pump casing and place the spring in position.
3. Place the O-ring on the end plate.
4. Fit the end plate on the catch pin.
