Remove the gear lever by using a screwdriver to carefully press in the catches/tabs on the plastic housing (Figure 1). Lift off the shift lever
assembly.

Fit in the reverse order. Check the operation of the shift lever.

Checking the Adjustment

Check that the shift lever is correctly assembled.

Insert a 5 mm drill bit through the gear lever housing and gear lever with 4th gear engaged (Figure 2). This differs slightly from the previous (-91)
procedure as the drill hole is towards the front of the housing instead of on the right side.
