Fault symptom

The malfunction indicator lamp does not light, see point 1.

The malfunction indicator lamp is lit continuously despite the fact that no diagnostic trouble code is registered in the engine management system. see
point 2.

Action

1

Connect the Intelligent Saab Tester (ISAT) and read "CHECK ENGINE LAMP".
If the display response is ON 0 V, proceed to "Action Before Changing A Control Module".
